Qi Gong, Tai Chi and Healing Tao Embodied Meditations
have enormous health giving effects in all dimensions of the body.
A few sessions of Transformational Bodywork, however, can release tension and open the body,
giving the sort of space, movement and release
that would take qigong many years to manifest.
A combination of QiGong and bodywork is most efficacious.
Tao Centre Colwyn Treatments are based on a Teacher / Student relationship
rather than a Therapist / Patient relationship.
We are taught how to do the work and nurture ourself, to take responsibility for ourself.

organs" or "Internal organs chi transformation".
a form of "Applied Chi-Kung". Practitioners work mainly on the abdomen with a deep, soft and gentle
touch, to train internal organs to work more efficiently and release unprocessed
emotional charges. All of the body systems are addressed: digestion, respiration,

Restructuring and strengthening the body:
By working on the visceral structures and positioning of internal organs
CNT stimulates them into working better,
helping to correct the postural problems resulting from visceral imbalances.
It releases deep-seated tensions and restores vitality.
CNT has been helpful against chronic pains such as back, neck and shoulder
and problems related to misalignment of the feet, legs and pelvis.
Improving emotional life:
Most of our unprocessed emotional life is stored
in our digestive system waiting to be addressed.
Poor emotional digestion
is one of the main reasons for ill health.
CNT allows the process of emotional
life to unfold and clarify,
making it possible for individuals to evolve
CNT teaches clients to know themselves better:
we believe that everyone
is responsible for ones own health
and that it starts from within.
Students are taught techniques to improve their breathing,
self-help massage techniques
and receive guidance in personalising their
diet and other health related life style matters.
Specific and relevant
visualisation and meditation practices are also used
to further enhance
the effect of manual treatments.
